Do you take credit cards?
Yes! We now accept credit cards through Google Checkout. If you do not require shipping (ie: local orders) I will only charge your credit card for the items + sales tax once I receive your order. The shipping will be deducted although it will not show this until your card is billed. If you want a corrected invoice before you pay with credit card, please email me your order to bodyluxe@gmail.com and I will happily send you an invoice for Google Checkout.

How do you ship your items?
All items are carefully boxed and shipped USPS Priority Mail. We use priority mail to keep the product travel time to a minimum of 2-3 days.

Do you accept checks?
I only accept local checks. You're welcome to pay by credit card through Google Checkout, which provides great buyer and seller protection.

What is cold process soap?
In order to make cold process soap (old fashioned lye soap) I begin by melting my oils and butters. The melted fats are then blended with a lye solution, and the soap magic begins to happen. Fragrance, colors and additives are added and the soap is poured into a mold. The raw soap goes through a 24 hour chemical reaction which produces a beautiful slab of soap which I cut into bars once the chemical reaction is complete. I allow my cold process soap to cure in open air on a rack for several weeks in order to harden and become more mild before offering it to the world.
